Achievement

Although the limited academic data collected for the two groups preclude drawing any meaningful conclusions about academic achievement, participants indicated in interviews that their participation in the program had a positive influence on their academic performance. Two participants decided to continue their education beyond high school as a result of the arts program, with one attending business school and the other enrolling in art classes at community college.
